John Lander was a big Houston morning radio guy. He led the Morning Zoo when 93Q KKBQ was a dominate top 40 station in a big battle with 104.1 KRBE in the 1980s. Well Lander left and I'm not sure Houston morning radio has ever really been the same in some ways. Fast forward to today where we learn Lander has left his 12 year gig at Mix 98.5 WBMX in Boston. The Boston Herald reports his contract was not renewed.
Imagine if Lander returned to Houston. Would the magic still be there?
