I told you how Clear Channel was being forced to sell radio stations to satisfy Justice Department antitrust concerns. At the time we heard the Houston stations would be 94.5 The Buzz KTBZ, Mix 96.5 KHMX or Mega 101 KLOL.
Multiple published reports say it is now Mix 96.5 KHMX and Mega 101 KLOL.
That makes sense. Sure there are complaints about 94.5 The Buzz KTBZ, but I believe it does well. Mega 101 KLOL rates well too, but I believe it has to go because the private equity firm that gets part of Clear Channel already owns Hispanic targeted radio stations.
Anyone actually remember Mix 96.5 KHMX is on the air anymore? Didn't think so.
