We all know that Snakes on a Plane has reached legendary status on the Internet before the film has been seen on the big screen, so the producers are using that to their advantage. Viral marketing!
You can go to this site, enter some information about someone and have Samuel L. Jackson send them a personalized message based on your entries. This means the studio had Mr. Jackson held up in some studio recording lots of names, occupations, hobbies...etc. so we can get a good laugh and they get free promotion.
It's a cool system. I just hope they aren't harvesting numbers for something, but I doubt they are. That would really blow up in their faces after the blogosphere got a hold of it.
As you probably already have heard, bloggers have been making fake trailers for this movie, even going as far as rewriting scenes which supposedly will be in the final movie!
