Allison Hill joined KVUE Austin as a reporter in June 2026.

Hill arrives in Austin from KXXV 25 News in Waco–Temple–Killeen, where she spent two years covering Central Texas and most recently served as Lead News Reporter. She originally joined KXXV in June 2024 as the Neighborhood Reporter covering Gatesville and Lampasas County.
Before joining KXXV, Hill worked at KCBD NewsChannel 11 in Lubbock, starting in 2022, where she gained experience both in front of and behind the camera. She started as a newscast producer, producing the station’s noon and 4 p.m. newscasts before moving into a reporting role in early 2024.
Hill also interned at KSAT in San Antonio during the summer of 2023.
While working at KCBD, Hill attended Texas Tech University and graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
Beyond academics, Hill held several leadership roles in Kappa Alpha Theta, including Vice President of Operations and Director of Fundraising, and participated in both the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Continuing her education while building her journalism career, Hill also earned her Master of Business Administration from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business in May 2026.
