Ted Garcia returns to FOX San Antonio

Ted Garcia is returning to the FOX San Antonio KABB anchor desk, this time in the morning to replace Andrew Capasso, who left in June 2025.

"The good folks at KABB — Fox San Antonio — are welcoming me back as the co-anchor of the morning and midday newscasts (Fox News First & Fox News Midday)," Garcia posted on Facebook.  "This will be my third time living in the Alamo City (third time is definitely the charm) and my second time working at KABB! I can’t wait to join @ashsuttonsa on February 2."

In August 2025, Garcia wrapped up his time with Newsradio 600 KOGO, where he was co-host of San Diego's Morning News.

Garcia previously was the FOX 29 San Antonio weekend anchor from 2010 to 2014.

While a student at Pepperdine University, Garcia became a news anchor for the school.

His first job was at KSWO 7 in Lawton, Oklahoma, in 1991.

After that, in 1992, Garcia was off to the Rio Grande Valley as a weekend anchor for KRGV 5 and, after a short time, was promoted to the 5pm anchor.

San Antonio came calling in 1993, where he was a reporter, weekend anchor, and finally morning and noon anchor.

Heading back to the West Coast, Garcia took a reporter position at KFMB in San Diego in 1996, and then spent 9 years as a reporter/anchor at KTLA in Los Angeles from 1998 to 2007.

He also briefly worked as an anchor for KFI AM 640 LA.
