KHOU 11 Houston reports that its former chief meteorologist, Dr. Neil Frank, has entered hospice care.
"Dr. Neil loves the KHOU community and is very thankful for their support," a statement from the Frank family said. "He would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as he’s been transferred into hospice at home with his loving wife of 73 years."
Frank joined KHOU-TV in June 1987 and retired in 2008. Before starting a new chapter in television, Dr. Frank was director of the National Hurricane Center in Florida for 13 years,
