Houston, TX – [November 4, 2025] — Puro Tejano 106.1 FM, Houston’s new and only Tejano radio station, proudly announces the debut of The Double J’s Morning Show— the city’s second and Tejano radio’s first all-female hosted morning show, featuring veteran broadcaster Jessika Reyna and Houston radio personality Jessica Jeanz.
Together, the two are breaking barriers and bringing a vibrant new sound to Houston morning radio.
Jessika Reyna, a well-known name in Houston broadcasting, makes her highly anticipated return to radio. Her career spans decades across Tejano, Country, and Smooth Jazz formats, where she built a reputation for her charismatic on-air presence, community connection, and deep musical roots.
"Coming back to radio — especially Tejano — feels like coming home," Reyna said. "To share this platform with another strong woman and celebrate our culture and community every morning is a dream."
Joining her is Jessica Jeanz, one of Houston’s rising radio talents, most recently heard on 97.9 THE BOX. Known for her bold personality and genuine connection with listeners, Jeanz brings a fresh, youthful energy and cross-genre experience to the Tejano airwaves.
"We’re representing women, Latinas, and Houston — all in one show," said Jeanz. "Expect laughs, real talk, and a lot of Tejano flavor."
Together, the two Jessica’s promise a morning filled with energy, heart, and Houston pride — blending classic Tejano favorites with modern entertainment and community conversation.
Puro Tejano 106.1 FM, powered by a team of seasoned broadcasters and local talent, is dedicated to revitalizing Tejano music and giving Houston’s Tejano community a true home on the airwaves.
