Kylee Dedmon announced that she is joining News 9 KWTV Oklahoma City as a reporter from KXII News 12 Sherman, where she has been the morning anchor for the past 4.5 years.
In addition to anchoring the morning news since August 2022, Dedmon also served as the anchor of News 12 NOW, the digital streaming newscasts for KXII.
Before being named morning anchor, Dedmon joined the station in 2020 as a reporter.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ole Miss in 2020, graduating Cum Laude, with an emphasis in broadcast journalism and a specialization in sports communication and promotion.
Before launching her professional career, Dedmon honed her reporting and anchoring skills at NewsWatch Ole Miss, the student-run broadcast at the University of Mississippi. She also worked for the athletic program's ESPN/SEC Network department.
