Houston has been the setting for reality TV, or what's now called unscripted shows, over the years, and now we're getting a new H-Town-focused show.
Today at Warner Bros. Discovery's US Networks Upfront presentation in New York, Channing Dungey, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery Television Group and the US Networks, announced Heart & Hustle: Houston (working title), a new docuseries following a dynamic sisterhood of successful Black women living and working in the vibrant heart of Houston.
These women are redefining what it means to be a boss, a wife, and a mother, while navigating a labyrinth of unique daily challenges.
Despite appearing to ‘have it all,’ they face insecurities and pressures to maintain a perfect image. Their unbreakable bond of friendship and support helps them to rise above the chaos, reminding them it’s okay to be ‘perfectly imperfect.’
Produced by Emmy Award winner Jesse Collins and marking Jesse Collins Entertainment’s first foray into the unscripted ensemble arena, the series is slated to premiere this summer on The Oprah Winfrey Network OWN.
