In a time when all we are hearing about is media layoffs, there is a bright spot to talk about and that relates to the High Tech Texan Michael Garfield adding Austin as one of his weekly TV appearances on FOX 7 KTBC with Dave Froehlich and Katie Orth.
Here is what Garfield posted on LinkedIn:
"Excited and honored to add another TV station to my content contribution list. I recently began my weekly tech segment on FOX7 (KTBC) morning show "Good Day Austin" in the technology hotbed of Austin, Texas.
This one hits home as I graduated with a Communications/Radio-TV-Film major at the University of Texas, just about one mile up the street from this heritage station.
I look forward to sharing product reviews, news, events and more in the capital city of Texas, in addition to my reports on KHOU (CBS) in Houston, and my long-running radio show in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
"The High-Tech Texan" brand continues to expand and I thank you for listening, watching, and taking my advice."
Houston TV viewers can catch him on KHOU 11 as a live field correspondent with Deborah Duncan on "Great Day Houston."
AM listeners can hear him on his long-running 950 KPRC Houston radio and his recent Texas radio expansion to Talk Radio 1190 KFXR Dallas and News Radio 1200 WOAI San Antonio.
Garf will be a busy media dude as he gains more outlets for his tech and lifestyle product news and reviews. As an influencer, he also keeps his nearly 50,000 Instagram followers entertained.
