Cassie Heiter is heading to WFAA 8 Dallas-Fort Worth from News 9 KWTV Oklahoma City where she has been a meteorologist for 10 years.
Here is what Heiter posted on social media:
"It’s hard to be this happy, excited, and sad at the same time.
I finally get to share that I’ll be the newest meteorologist at WFAA in Dallas! I just couldn’t pass on this rare opportunity. I will still be in OKC until early January.
I love my News 9 family dearly and I’ve made the bestest friends a girl could ask for in Oklahoma. I’ll be going back and forth often across the Red River."
Before KWTV, Heiter worked for WQAD News 8 Moline, Illinois serving the Quad Cities area.
The Western Kentucky University grad started her TV career with WNKY News 40 Bowling Green, Kentucky.
