Ken Slama will fill in on KSAT 12 on Saturday and Sunday evenings while Sarah Spivey is on maternity leave.

Currently a Churchill High School chemistry teacher, Slama moved to San Antonio and started his new teaching career this past July from FOX 21 KQDS Duluth, Minnesota, where he had worked four years as a morning meteorologist.

The Oregon State University grad interned with KOIN 6 Portland, Oregon.
