Max Preston joined the KAMR Local 4 News/FOX 14 News KCIT Amarillo sports team in November 2023 as the weekend sports anchor.
Preston came from KODE 12/KSNF 16 Joplin, Missouri, where he served as sports director.
He started his TV career with KTAB/KRBC Abilene as a sports anchor/reporter.
KAMR is a homecoming for Preston, who interned with the station in 2018.
Preston graduated from Tascosa High School and Abilene Christian University. He played football and baseball in the Panhandle while in high school.
