FOX 4 "Good Day" anchors surprised by fire alarm on live TV

FOX 4 KDFW Dallas-Fort Worth "Good Day" anchors were surprised on live television Tuesday when the fire alarm went off during the newscast.

Meteorologist Evan Andrews was prudent and wanted to get out of the studio.

Traffic reporter Chip Waggoner threw caution to the wind and stayed in place to keep broadcasting.

Anchor Lauren Przybyl held her ears while I bet co-anchor Brandon Todd was thinking of a good dad joke to lighten the situation.

Don't worry about the popular DFW morning team, as the show's Facebook page posted, "Note: Everything is okay!"

Errant fire alarms shouldn't be an issue for the anchor team in a few years when they deliver the news from a new state-of-the-art studio in Las Colinas.
