The KTSM 9 El Paso evening anchor Monica Cortez is now married.

Cortez can even see her new husband, Daniel Hernandez, at work since he is the KTSM Local Sales Manager.
The couple were married in Puerto Vallarta.
Cortez moved to the anchor seat at the beginning of 2024 from her chief meteorologist position to take over for Natassia Paloma, who left with morning anchor/husband Trevor Thompson for KOB 4 Eyewitness News Albuquerque, New Mexico.
