Allysa Tellez has left her KENS 5 San Antonio morning reporter and MMJ position in August 2023 to apparently start school at the University of Texas at Austin.
Tellez joined KENS 5 in May of 2021 from KLBK Lubbock where she was a reporter/multimedia journalist.
Before that she worked as a production assistant for KFOX 14/CBS 4 KDBC El Paso.
The New Mexico State University grad worked as a reporter/anchor/weather forecaster for student-run KRWG New 22 Las Cruces, New Mexico. She interned with KFOX/CBS 4.
Also leaving is KENS 5 photojournalist Mike Vigil.
