"There were days, even months when Preston & I didn't know if a pregnancy announcement, if biological children, would ever be part of God's plan for our lives.
After month after month of disappointment, of not seeing those two pink lines on at-home pregnancy tests, we consulted our doctors & had fertility testing done.
We quickly learned our chances of conceiving naturally were slim and that infertility comes in many forms. It can be due to something diagnosed in the woman, something diagnosed in the man, something diagnosed in both, or the reason for the infertility could be truly unknown. But the reality is, 1 in 8 couples -- couples that you may and probably know -- deal with infertility.
Our infertility journey, which I will be sharing in more detail later, involved multiple rounds of IUI and an IVF round."
