Alexis Wainwright has joined CBS 11 KTVT in Dallas - Fort worth as a reporter from KARK 4 and FOX 16 KLRT Little Rock, Arkansas.

Alexis Wainwright moves to CBS DFW mornings
Here is what Wainwright posted on Facebook about her North Texas move:
"New chapter in a new city.
So excited to be in Dallas, TX and a part of the CBS DFW family.
I’m so happy to be in such a big city with so much to explore, I can’t wait to meet everyone around town. If you know me, I was first introduced to this part of the South through a friend and now I can’t believe I’m calling this place home.
Special thank you to everyone who has helped me grow along this journey. It was hard to keep this secret for so long, but now you can tell your friends, mama, cousin and tell them to call me.
I’m here to educate, share stories and make an impact. So if you know anything around the Dallas/ Fort Worth area from people, to stories and of course food spots...LET ME KNOW. I’m truly blessed to be on this journey, also send tips for surviving in the heat too."
Wainwright joined KARK in 2019 from WJAC and WATM Central Pennsylvania where she was a multi-media journalist/reporter.
The North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University grad also received her Masters of Science from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
The Emmy award winner is a Washington DC area native. She interned at WJLA and the FOX News Channel.
