Zachery Lashway started at KPRC 2 this week from sister-station WJXT-News4Jax Jacksonville, FL where he was a weekend morning show anchor.
"New City. New Station. Same great company, [Graham Media Group]," Lashway tweeted. "Hello Houston! I look forward to getting to know you and telling your stories on the best station in town, @KPRC2."
Lashway joined WJXT in July 2018 from KARE 11 Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The 2X Edward R. Murrow Award recipient and Emmy-nominated TV journalist also worked for as:
- an anchor/reporter at PHL 17 WPHL Philadelphia
- morning anchor at KRTV/KXLH Great Falls, Montana
While in college at The State University of New York College (SUNY) at Plattsburgh, Lashway interned with CBS News.
