Al Roker was back with his fifth Rokerthon during the NBC's TODAY show and Texas television stations represented among the 63 weather reports.
By the way, Guinness World Records adjudicator Brittany Dunn ruled Roker and his team of local TV meteorologists set the record for World’s Largest Online Weather Forecast Relay.
The previous record had 50 weather reports.
Among the 63 weather reports, Roker passed the ball to were:
- KPRC 2 Houston's Justin Stapleton at Memorial Park
- NBC5 KXAS DFW's Grant Johnston at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, TX
- News 4 San Antonio WOAI's Jeannette Calle live from San Antonio Market Square
- KXAN Austin's Nick Bannin live from the new Q2 Stadium
