COZI Houston moves to channel 47.4, KUBE 57 goes shopping

COZI Houston has moved from KUBE 57.4 to Telemundo Houston KTMD channel 47.4 as of June 27, 2021.

"We have strong viewership in Houston and are eager for COZI TV fans to promptly find the network in its new home on 47.4," Telemundo Houston KTMD President & General Manager Tony Canales told mikemcguff.com.  "Houston viewers likely need to re-scan, in order to add 47.4 to their OTA channel line-up and continue enjoying their favorite COZI TV shows."

The CHARGE! diginet replaces COZI on sub-channel 57.4 and describes itself as, "featuring action programming including movies, series and sports entertainment."

COZI shows classic TV shows from various decades.

Many emails started coming in this week asking about where COZI was ending up on Houston television since its move a few days ago.

In the course of learning about the COZI move, I found out that KUBE 57 is now part of home shopping channel network so you will see that programming on the station more and more.  However, at the time of this writing, I did see that "Access Daily" was still on the station.

As a result of the shopping network direction, I was told by a KUBE 57 representative that the station decided to stop airing COZI on its sub-channel.

Canales told me that COZI TV has been with the KUBE for the last four years.

He adds since Telemundo Houston is owned by NBC Universal and so is COZI, the NBCU channels are coming together in Houston on channel 57.4.

According to my records, KUBE 57 signed on the Houston TV airwaves in 2010.
