"Great to see the desk as I left it, Jan. 2, 2020," Walker posted on Facebook. "Greetings, friends. I’m back! First day. Your prayers, notes of encouragement, interactions at the grocery store, even shoutouts at the hospital helped get me here. Thank you for everything. Now, back to the news...Love y’all!"
Great news after the sad post from a few months ago announcing his accident.
"A truck hit me as I walked within a crosswalk," Walker posted on Facebook earlier this year. "I don’t remember much: lights out, the sound of a siren, and a voice, which explained, 'You’re on your way to Ben Taub Hospital. A truck hit you.'"
Walker later told us about Lamar High School senior Alex Park who helped save his life.
