Jennifer Broome, one of the original KPRC 2 "Houston Life" co-hosts, announced her departure on Facebook.
I guess Colorado Day is fitting to share my news.
In the words of John Muir, "The mountains are calling and I must go." In late August I'm returning to Colorado to base out of Denver.
First up is what I'm calling a "go find myself" road trip in September to UT, WY, MT, ID, and OR.
My brother's passing last year made me realize how important it is to follow your heart and to do what truly makes you happy.
So, I'll be embarking on an unchartered journey to follow my passions of travel, outdoors, adventure, and weather.
Broome and Derrick Shore arrived in town last summer to launch the show at the end of August.
No stranger to Texas, Broome returned to our state from FOX 31 KDVR Denver's Good Day Colorado.
Before that, she worked at WOAI San Antonio as a meteorologist.
No word on her replacement.
