CoCo Dominguez has been named Traffic Reporter and Lifestyle Correspondent at FOX 26 KRIV, announced station Vice President and News Director, Susan Schiller.
Effective Monday, August 21st, Dominguez will serve as the traffic reporter for the “FOX 26 News at 5 p.m.” and contribute entertainment and lifestyle pieces for the “Bayou City Buzz,” a segment which appears during “The News Edge at 10 p.m.”
In making the announcement, Schiller stated, “In addition to providing our viewers with need to know rush-hour news, Coco will bring her versatility and unique perspective of Houston’s most interesting people, places and events to our newscasts.”
Since 2015, Dominguez has served as an entertainment and lifestyle contributor for the “FOX 26 Morning News” and provided segments for
“After Empire.” In addition, she temporarily served as morning traffic reporter for the station.
Earlier, she served as an anchor for KKHH Houston (CBS Radio) and before that, KLOL Mega 101 (CBS Radio).
Prior to that, Dominguez was a midday on-air personality for La Kalle 100.7 & 105.7 on KVVF/KVVZ in San Francisco (Univision Radio).
She began her career as a midday on-air personality for Party 104.9 on KPTY Houston, before moving to mornings on the station (Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation/Univision Radio).
Dominguez added, “As an everyday visitor into the homes of our FOX 26 viewers, I plan to provide behind the scenes access to some of the hottest happenings in our hometown, as well as deliver the most up-to-the-minute information on our busy Houston highways.”
