George Riba, the man behind 8,000 stories, closes book on 37-year WFAA career
On Sept. 12, 1977, Riba began in the sports department at Channel 8. His hop-scotching from station to station was over. Almost 37 1/2 years later, Riba’s run ends Feb. 20. He’s retiring.
