KXLN Univision 45 today unveiled a new state-of-the-art news studio and outdoor building signage with the redesigned Univision logo. The facility, which will primarily be used for KXLN Univision 45’s “Noticias 45” (News 45) news team, features a revamped LED lighting system, modernized weather center, top of the line visual background monitor and a completely redesigned interview area. The new set was designed by SABCA Productions.

KXLN Univision 45 senior vice president and general manager David Loving commented “Our new news facility is a reflection of not only our leading position and continued growth within the Houston market but also the commitment Univision has to inform, empower and educate the community in which we serve.”

Viewers of UniMás 67’s “Vive la Mañana” (Embrace the Morning) morning show and Univision 45’s “Nuestra Vida” (Our Life) community affairs show will also see facility changes to their respective filming sets. All Univision Houston local programming will have a unified look on-air.
