Got word there is a date set for former KTRK 13 photographer Jim Myers' memorial service.
It will be from 1 to 4pm, Friday, October 21, at the VFW Hall located at 21902 Northwest Freeway in Houston.
As I blogged earlier this week, Myers, 52, was found dead last week at his home.
Myers worked in various television markets throughout his career. I know he worked at KMOL (now WOAI) in San Antonio for a number of years and then later in San Diego. He worked at KTRK for around 10 years or so.
According to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences records, Myers' cause of death is still pending.
