Great story about KPRC Channel 2's glory days
when it pooled the Apollo 11 mission signal for NASA and beamed it to the world:
He said the images were beamed down to Australia. From there, they were sent to Houston and KPRC-TV's equipment set up at Mission Control.
KPRC distributed the images to the NBC, ABC and CBS television networks.
