Allison Gower of qTags fame lets us know about Communities in Schools 2008 Houston Santa Sacks program.
You may be familiar with Communities in Schools Houston - a non-profit organization that for 30 years has provided social and medical services for kids who really need their help. They currently serve over 100 schools in the greater Houston area -- and in the wake of Katrina (after which they gained a lot more students in need, displaced from New Orleans), Rita and now the infamous Ike - they are having to work harder for more kids.
The Santa Sacks program delivers gifts to 2000 + elementary, middle and high school students who otherwise will likely not get anything for the holidays. READ MORE
