VIDEO: Why live shots and animals don’t mix

WJW’s Kathleen Cochrane was trying to do a live shot while holding a cat. That's asking for it. As you might imagine it didn't end well.

I guess there is not much news going on in Cleveland because Cochrane filed a follow-up story the next night on this incident. (WATCH PART 2 HERE)

Is it just me, or does she kind of remind you of Cameron Diaz?

Cochrane should adopt this cat because it is the best thing to happen to her career. Now she will be all over YouTube, blogs and then TV shows will start picking up the clip. She seems comfortable on camera, so that means goodbye Fox station, hello Fox News! Roger Ailes will probably snap her up.

The only thing I can add to this story is that in my reporter days I did a live shot next to a large dog and when I got back to the station, the main anchor told me it made her nervous. Good thing nothing happened because YouTube didn't exist back then. Instead of 15 minutes of web fame, all I would have got were some stitches and lots of pain!
