Don't think about parking near the George R. Brown anymore, at least not in a parking lot. If you haven't been to that area of downtown Houston in a while, you're in for a surprise.
There is lots of construction going on down there. It's all for our version of Central Park called Discovery Green and surrounding businesses. Just down the street, two other former parking lots bordering Main Street are under construction for the future Houston Pavilion.
