High-Def too late

There's a lot of talk in the Chronicle about a certain station offering its newscasts in high-def. Heck, there's even an article on the changes in makeup.

But Ken Hoffman's reader sums it all up correctly:

I'm glad KHOU-Channel 11 will now have their newscasts in high-definition, but wouldn't it have been smarter to go high-def while the beautiful Lisa Foronda was still there? - Dave Thurm
