Bayou Place ready to rock with latest tenant

Looks like the void left by Bar Houston will be filled. The Houston Business Journal reveals the new tenant for the upstairs of Bayou Place:

Röcbar, a $2.5 million rock club and bar, will open in mid-November on the second level of Bayou Place in downtown Houston.

The focus of the club's layout will be a 60-foot "rock" bar with adjacent seating areas, a live music stage and a 20-foot video wall.

For those keeping score, Bayou Place was one of the first parts of downtown Houston to be renovated. I just hope the Angelika Film Center & Café stays open.
