$1000 reward offered to nab camera-happy Chief Hurtt

I spotted this on BoingBoing. We've all seen how Chief Harold Hurtt wants to install cameras around Houston to fight crime. It's caused some talk in the Houston blog scene.

But now some want to turn the tables and put cameras on Hurtt:

Matt Asher is offering a $1000 reward to the "first person who can provide definitive videotaped evidence of Houston police chief Harold Hurtt committing a crime, any crime."

Wow, talk about citizens on patrol. Does this mean average folks will turn into paparazzi on the chief in quest of a $1,000?

I've heard Asher is actually from Oregon, but that is nice that he is looking out for H-Town from the Northwest.
