It's time to bring out more Scotland photos. I told you I would, especially since I shot more than 400 photos while in the UK. Don't worry, not all of them will hit the blog.
Here are pictures from Stirling Castle in Stirling. This is the place where William Wallace defeated the English in 1297. Remember the guy Mel Gibson played in Braveheart? I loved how these photos turned out. Click on a picture to enlarge the sucker.

My Scotland trip in Ken Hoffman's column
Ken Hoffman published my email in his Sunday column. It was about our Scotland trip so here is another photo. This was taken at Edinburgh Castle overlooking the city from behind one of the many cannons. (MORE ON THE CASTLE)

The Citroen Picasso
So here is the picture of the car we rented when we were in Scotland. It was a Citroen Xsara Picasso (link). Heard of that? Turns out it is a French company.
After getting used to driving on the opposite side of the car, I have to say it was a good car. Liked the digital readout.

PIC: The Isle of Skye, Scotland
As promised, here is a picture I took on the Isle of Skye. It was so beautiful all I had to do was point in shoot. This is one I couldn't mess up too much. This was taken outside of our hotel.
Imagine waking up to this everyday!
More on the Isle of Skye.

My favorite Scotland photo
This is a picture of a seemingly old bridge in Scotland. We were leaving the Isle of Skye when I took it. It took me a while to get to a point where I felt I could take a good picture. I would say this is one of my favorites from the trip.

The Knight of Edinburgh

As I was taking his picture, there was another guy in a kilt playing the bagpipes down the street.

Wannaburger?

So when I saw Wannaburger on The Royal Mile in Edinburgh, I had to stop and laugh.
There was no way I was traveling all the way to Scotland and eating a fast food burger so I cannot vouch for Wannaburger, but you have to agree it looks similar to our Whataburger.

Dr. Pepper Zero is coming?

Much the way Coke Zero tastes like real Coke, Dr. Pepper Zero will not disappoint DP fans.
I only found one shop on Edinburgh's Royal Mile that sold it while on our travels, so I don't know how widely available it is. In fact Coke's UK page only has an image, so I think this is the early stages of the drink.
If you have a chance to drink one, take it, even if you are not thirsty. You will find it oh so choice.
I have always been a huge Dr. Pepper fan, I think that is how I made my choice to go to Baylor. That's since Waco is the birth site for the drink and even has a full museum dedicated to it.
More Scotland photos coming. By the time I'm finished, you'll probably be sick of the UK.
