As Telemundo Houston KTMD launches its new 11am newscast today, let's also take a look at a promotion.
Noel Ramos has been named assistant news director.
Ramos started with the station as a producer in October 2016. He later moved up to the role of executive producer in January 2017.
In his long career, Ramos has previously worked for Telemundo in Puerto Rico, Miami and Chicago. He got his start at Univision in Puerto Rico.
He is a graduate of the American University of Puerto Rico.
