SportsRadio 610 KILT swaps schedules in May 2016

Newcomer Dante Hall joins John Lopez and Cody Stoots as co-host of “In The Loop”

SportsRadio 610 and CBS RADIO Houston announced today a new show lineup, including the newest addition, Dante Hall, starting on May 31st, 2016. Sports Radio 610 can be heard on-air, online at www.sportsradio610.com or via the Radio.com app for mobile devices.

“Mad Radio,” featuring 10-year NFL veteran, and former Houston Texans defensive tackle, Seth Payne and top rated Houston host, Mike Meltser, will now be on during the morning drive, 6:00-10:00AM daily. The essence of the show will remain the same; a high energy, fast paced, funny show, full of emotion that fans love.

Moving to mid-days will be “In The Loop,” which will highlight local sports with three voices, talking all things Houston from 10:00AM-2:00PM. “In the Loop” will now be hosted by John Lopez, eight year SportsRadio 610 veteran who has been covering Houston sports for more than 25 years. Joining Lopez will be newcomer Dante Hall, nine-year NFL veteran, Texas A&M alumni, and local Houstonian, as well as the up and coming native Houstonian, and Texas Tech alumni, Cody Stoots.

Five-time smack down champion Sean Pendergast, 20 year radio veteran Rich Lord, and three-time football champion Ted Johnson, will be back as the afternoon hosts with “The Triple Threat,” and can be heard 2:00-6:00PM daily. From 6:00-7:00PM, “Texans All Access,” the daily Texans Radio show, will give Houston Texans fans a nightly inside look on Houston’s #1 team featuring host Marc Vandermeer.

Capping off the night will be “Gallant at Night” featuring host Paul Gallant as he talks all things sports, while interacting with listeners from 7:00-11:00PM.

“When the search began, I wanted to find the right fit for the station and our passionate listeners. After an extensive search, I’m thrilled to bring Dante Hall back to Houston where his football career began,” said Ryan McCredden, SportsRadio 610 Program Director. “This dynamic lineup of personalities will deliver compelling content to the Houston sports fan every day. This just further solidifies ourselves as Houston’s Sports Leader!”

"The NFL is a year-round passion for our fans and this new lineup will provide Texans fans with a daily offseason opportunity to stay connected to their team via Texans Radio," said Houston Texans President, Jamey Rootes. "We are proud to deepen our partnership with Houston's Sports Leader and the only radio home the Houston Texans have ever known, SportsRadio 610."

  1. Vandermeer is the worst. He comes across as smug and condescending. He has no business on the airwaves (or in the pressbox for that matter!

  2. Vandermeer is horrible. His "rock & roll" steal is pathetic; his voice is unlistenable, and I believe Bob McNair and Rick Smith use Vandy's tongue and saliva as adult butt wipes, his head is so far up their a$$e$.
He has gotten each year on air. But between the Texans Media and John McLain, that team get sooooo many passes and such easy PR.

And remember...Vandy liked Josh Anus when he was polluting the air.
