May TV sweeps story ideas 2014

Some of these television sweeps stories have never been done before


I think by now you realize I enjoy spotlighting some cliched TV sweeps ideas mixed in with some more serious ones. It's an added bonus for overworked television producers and reporters. However, the stories I've collected from real news sites for May 2014 are totally over the top.

If that's not enough, here are even more ideas of over the top sweeps ideas THAT HAVE APPARENTLY NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. These came from consulting with actual TV industry sources. We'll call it the dream file.

From the Chupacabra to the werewolf diet, these stories might have my readers rolling their eyes, but TV managers will probably eat them up. In fact, for February 2014 sweeps, some of my suggestions were used on Houston TV stations!
