KHOU 11 reporter Drew Karedes did a story on the new Montrose apartment building the day before it went up in flames.

The new development was in the news because folks were upset the complex was built right up against a century plus old cemetery (story video embedded below).

The coincidence of the fire after the story aired has people talking on social media.

The eventual 5-alarm apartment fire started early Tuesday afternoon and could be seen from all over Houston - here is my image from the edge of the Texas Medical Center. At the time of this post's publishing, there were no injuries. All the construction workers inside reportedly got out.
