Former KTRK abc13 photographer/editor/producer Michael Carl is breaking out on his own with partners and throwing a big party this Thursday at his Houston Uplink Studios.
The west side of Houston studio has a complete uplink and liveshot studio capable of broadcasting to all corners of the globe in full HD 1080i resolution. This studio is modeled after studios that provide uplink and liveshots to CNN, ESPN, Fox NEWS, MSNBC, and others that are constantly doing uplinks from Houston.

The facility also houses one of the largest sound stage studios in Houston at around 3100 square feet and a 20 foot lighting grid. It has a full floor to ceiling green screen with a harness.
That means I could live out my Peter Pan fantasy and fly anywhere that can be devised with a Chroma Key. Will Houston TV managers play Captain Hook?
That part of the biz is operated by RW Productions Inc. which has been around since 1987 and does everything from corporate, safety, marketing, television commercials, music videos, infomercials to web videos etc.
If that isn't enough, you might want to check out Champion Entertainment Inc. That's a film and video production company that has been active in the entertainment business since 1993 and acquires, develops, and creates conceptual movies, television programs, infomercials and specialty projects, such as reality television and animation.
