KHOU 11 investigative reporter Courtney Zubowski married Dr. Eric Haas last Saturday at The Corinthian in downtown Houston.
More than 300 guests attended the black tie wedding, including Houston TV folks from just about every station in town. About a dozen current and former KHOU 11 staffers were there too. KTRK abc13's Miya Shay was a bridesmaid and weekend morning anchor Katie McCall was in the house party.
Meteorologists Frank Billingsley, Casey Curry, and Chita Johnson attended and they all predicted a strong front of love coming in from the west (OK, I added that last part in, but they were probably thinking it).
I hear Randi Zubowski, Courtney's mother, planned the entire event which had an art deco theme to echo the architecture of The Corinthian. Courtney's dress was by Lazaro, the bridesmaids wore Amsale and Houston's own Scott Gertner provided the music.
The honeymoon is in St. Lucia. A rehearsal dinner for 160 guests was held the night before at Hotel ZaZa.
