Univision rates high in Houston and Dallas

Univision stations in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Sacramento are No. 1 during primetime, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34 for the February 2012 sweeps period according to the Spanish language network. Here is more on Univision's local ratings:

During the February 2012 sweep period, Univision local stations were No. 1 in primetime in following markets:

Among Total Viewers 2+ in Miami
Among Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, Miami and Houston
Among Adults 18-34 in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Sacramento
Among Adults 25-54 in Miami and Houston

During the February 2012 sweep period, WXTV Univision 41 in New York and KMEX Univision 34 in Los Angeles led all other stations in the country as the No. 1 and No. 2 most watched early evening local newscasts among Adults 18-49, regardless of language.
KMEX Univision 34 in Los Angeles also led all other stations in the country as the No. 1 most watched late local newscast among Adults 18-49, regardless of language.
In the top 10 markets, Univision local stations had four of the top ten most watched late local newscasts in the country among Adults 18-49, regardless of language. KMEX-LA ranks as No. 1, WXTV-NY ranks as No. 4, KXLN-HOU ranks as No. 5 and KUVN-DAL ranks as No. 9.
In the top 10 markets, Univision local stations had three of the Top Ten most watched late local newscasts in the country among Adults 25-54, regardless of language. KMEX-LA ranks as No. 3, WXTV-NY ranks as No. 5 and KXLN-HOU ranks as No. 9.
Univision local stations delivered the No. 1 6 p.m. (5 p.m. Central) early evening local news, regardless of language, in the following markets:

Among Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Phoenix and Sacramento.
Among Adults 25-54 in Los Angeles, New York (tie), Houston, Dallas (tie) and San Francisco.


Univision local stations delivered the No. 1 late local news, regardless of language, in the following markets:

Among Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York (tie), Houston, Dallas, Phoenix and Sacramento.
Among Adults 25-54 in Los Angeles, Houston and Dallas.
