Former Univision KXLN 45 news director Deanna Landron-Reyes lands new gig

Deanna Landron-Reyes, former news director at Houston Univision KXLN 45, is moving east to Florida for a new gig.

She'll be an executive producer with CF News 13, the 24 hour news operation in Orlando.

"The move to Central Florida News 13 in Orlando is particularly exciting for me because I have been out of the news business for the last few years," Landron-Reyes told the mikemcguff.com blog. "So, I'll relish the opportunity to work with a group of highly regarded professionals in a 24-hour news setting. And while I'm leaving Houston, ties to family, friends, and colleagues will ensure a continued relationship with this great city that has been home for so long."

Landron-Reyes started her TV news career as an intern for the Armed Forces Network in Germany. She later moved on to KAUZ 6 in Wichita Falls, TX. There she worked her way up from Chyron operator to producer. She was the Univision KXLN 45 news director from July 2003 to May 2005.

She starts November 15th. Congrats. CONTACT: Leave me a Houston or Texas media news tip | COMMENT: Click to leave your thoughts on this post here
