KIAH 39's Leticia Juarez got quite the surprise Saturday night as she co-anchored the 9pm newscast. Her boyfriend Mark Annas proposed to her live on the air. SEE VIDEO ABOVE.
It was perfect that the The Bridal Symposium was taking place in Houston this weekend as the lead in story to the big on air question.
(Thanks Bryan)
I actually cried at this video! So sweet and what a great surprise for her!
ReplyDeleteThis was a great story. I saw it last night and even though I dont know them. I was very happy for them. We need more news like this especially since thing in the country are so bad with the current adminstration. OBAMA.
ReplyDeleteThis was pretty stupid. I thought that the media kept thier business to themselves. In my apartment complex here next to Channel 13 we have like three of 13 news people that live here and they are really strange people for being reporters. VERY STRANGE.
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for sharing this! I know both of them and wish them all the happiness in the world!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry, but this on air marriage thing is so very small market..you would think in a market the size of Houston we wouldn't have to see this junk..the on air marriage thing started at KTUL years ago... why do TV folks think the public gives a rats ass about there personal life. And what does OBAMA have to do with this??
ReplyDeleteshe did a good job "faking it" (her "excitement" that is)...she should go to Hollywood and pursue acting.
ReplyDeletethat's funny what anonymous 1:23 said. I work in news and YES reporters are very strange. All tv types are weird. Whenever I move to a new town I try to stay away from the "popular" apartment complexes where other reporters live. I stay FAR away from them!
ReplyDeleteTV people are wierd? Well maybe but you have to undestand... most reporters and anchors are extremely narcistic and yet insecure. Most are even psychotic and ALL suffer from ADHD which is why they work in TV and not in print. I know this from working with them for several years. Not being qualified for much else, Most will end up in medial sales and pr jobs when they are too old for TV.
ReplyDeleteSeems like most of the anonymous folks are the same person what do you say Mike?
