Houston radio's Laura Morris to the academic world

Laura Morris is a big name in Houston radio. She was the Vice President and General Manager at 740 KTRH/790 KBME and then in charge of the CBS radio stations in Houston (100.3 KILT, SportsRadio 610..etc).

She just announced on Facebook that she is moving into a new chapter in her life:

"Second Half Reinvention" update: I'm joining Lone Star College System as Associate Vice Chancellor, Marketing & Communications. Lone Star is the #1 producer of 2 year degrees and the fastest growing community college in TX w/ 63,000+ credit students. I'll be leading all marketing, communications, media relations, publications, web and public relations activities plus some legislative and government affairs work.

So congrats to Laura.
