Congratulations are in order for KTRK 13 10pm producer Adam Darsky as he departs Houston for Charlotte, North Carolina to become the new day side executive producer at WCNC NewsChannel 36.
Just a few months ago I posted about Darsky's recent Lone Star EMMY Award win.
"This is certainly bittersweet," Darsky told the mikemcguff.com blog. "Houston is my hometown and I've worked at KTRK for 9 years. I started on the weekends, moved to Live at Five, and then to the 10:00 newscast. I've had a chance to work with just about everyone in the building at one point or another. Everyone here is amazingly talented and it surely has been a privilege to work here and serve the community."
He starts the new gig March 15th.
As a reader here, you also might remember Darsky from my remembrance of the Meyer Park Chili's. We both had our first date there. Was it with each other? Read the old post to find out.
