I have written about John Hughes on this blog over the years. He directed one of my all time favorite movies Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Today the 80s mega director died due to a heart attack. He was 59.
As Murdock, who delivered the bad news to me said, there will be no Ferris Bueller 2 now. Matthew Broderick has supposedly said he would never do a sequel without Hughes. I can understand why.
It's a sad day for 80s movie fans. Hughes also directed such classics as Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club.
