Now we know why the faithful usually say they aren't happy with religious coverage on television news. "The coverage" is mostly a 30 second story at the end of the newscast called a "kicker." It mostly concerns Jesus appearing on toast, walls, popcorn, gas puddles and whatever else you can come up with for attention.
Now some enterprising soul has compiled these clips into a montage of embarrasement.

UPDATE:
The message in this post was to make a point of how some in the media treat religion like a softball topic and reduce it to a quick "gee-whiz" type of segment. It was to suggest some deeper stories on faith might be good for the industry.
