Houston TV to get one man bands/back pack journalists

They are called many names. One man bands, backpack journalists or in this case multi-media journalists. Houston could soon see its first backpack journalists on an affiliated station (the now defunct News24Houston did it first on cable):

KIAH 39 News is seeking 2 Multi-Media Journalists. Successful candidate must be able to work in a multi-platform environment. Will be responsible for shooting, editing, writing and voicing stories. Stories will be used both online and on-air. Applicants must be able to cover a diverse range of topics from local entertainment to environmental issues. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a newsroom environment. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Photography and non-linear editing skills needed. Previous website experience a plus.

Someone suggested I apply for this. While I have been a TV reporter and still occasionally do a few online only stories for this blog/abc13.com, plus I am a web producer with a Lone Star Emmy Award, I am not sure this opportunity is for me.
