Will this happen more in publishing? My guess is yes. Will it happen in TV? Already happening. I posted a few months ago about how Fox and NBC owned and operated stations are sharing photographers and helicopter resources. That agreement exists in Dallas/For Worth too, but not yet in Houston that I know of.
One of my college professors made the prediction in class more than a decade ago that there will eventually be one newspaper and one TV station in each market that do local news. Most likely they will be partners. Stay tuned...
